Every website needs a form of income to support the costs of maintaining the website and to cover server costs. The Whitburn Village website is no different in that respect and so we have come up with a simple solution to allow local businesses to advertise your business and products to a local audience.

Firstly, this website displays advert banners in various places around the website and they come in the following sizes (sizes may look different if you are viewing this from a tablet or a mobile phone):

Please Note: Advertising requests for this website, will only be considered for local Whitburn businesses or businesses within the local surrounding area, so South Shields, Whitburn, Cleadon and Sunderland and other places within that limit and this would be checked before any advertising request was accepted. Should there be empty slots, we will fill the slots ourselves with hand selected adverts from suitable retailers.

What this website is offering is a simple package, where you will have one banner of each of these difference sizes added into our advert rotations, which would have a maximum of 50 different adverts within the rotation. There would be no upper limit for how many views an advert gets, the package would be for a fixed period and a fixed price, so should your advert be seen many thousands of times, you would never be asked to pay more. This would be the same across the whole website.

Pricing: To keep this as simple as possible, there are only two options regarding pricing which are as follows:

3 months x 1 of each banner across the website in the rotation = £50 (unlimited banner impressions)

12 months x 1 of each banner across the website in the rotation = £120 (unlimited banner impressions)

Once banners are live in the rotation, each change to the banners would have a cost of £10

Once all 50 rotations are full. No more adverts would be added until an existing advert has expired.

As this is a brand new website and we are just starting out. The first 10 orders placed will be half price.
